For measuring and aligning turbines, compressors etc.

For straightness measurement of bearing journals and diaphragms, where there are bearing halves with different diameters, primarily in turbines. Compressors are another application. Resolution 0.001 mm [0.05 mils]. Simple setup and measuring procedure.


Measurement distance up to 40 m [132 feet]. The system automatically calculates the bores’ positions in relation to each other both horizontally and vertically.

The points can be measured and adjusted in any order. The measured reference line (A) can be offset (B) in the measurement program. This is especially useful when measuring and adjusting turbine diaphragms and bearing positions that have different centre lines due to thermal expansion.

 

Especially adapted laser transmitters and fixtures

Depending on the type of turbine etc. there are different laser transmitters and fixtures available. Upon request we can also manufacture fixtures for diameters other than those included as standard.
