E series Display unit Firmware Update

The installation procedure for the firmware is described in this document: 05-0471 System_update_rev5.pdf. Read it carefully before downloading the update file.

Please also read the Release Notes 1.8.pdf carefully.

We strongly recommend all users of systems with Firmware 1.6 or lower to also upgrade with SYSFRAME 35.

Note! The Release Notes contains important information on update limitations for some Display units! 

E series Display unit Font Package Update

Some of the earliest versions of the E-series need to have a font package installed. Please read this instruction, 05-0502 Font package.pdf, to see if you need this upgrade or not.

EasyLink™

You can now easily transfer measuring results from the display unit to the history database and produce reports, or export the results to an Excel chart for further analysis.

The program supports a large number of applications: shaft alignment, straightness, squareness, parallelism (e.g. rolls), flatness, flange (e.g. slewing bearings), plumb lines, etc.

Works with Windows® 2000/XP/Vista/Win7

The program is completely free and contains a full version.

Updates always contains the latest version (see program version above) and can be downloaded at any time.

All earlier data is saved during an update.

RS232 to USB driver

1. Identify your type of cable.
2. Then choose USB driver depending on your Windows operating system.
3. If your type of cable cannot be used with your operating system, please contact your local Easy-Laser® dealer.
