Prerequisites	Class Basic shaft alignment or other user experience.
Performance objectives	Give the participant an understanding of special machines e.g. cardan coupled machines. Give the participant an understanding in different methods of alignment of machines mentioned above. Give the participant an understanding of thermal growth. Give the participant an understanding of machine train applications. Give the participant an understanding of different alignment tolerances. Practice to use the Easy-Laser® measurement systems to align horizontal- and vertical coupled machines, and machine trains. To give the participant the skills to master the handling of the Easy-Laser® measurement systems in his/her daily work.
Course description	The class addresses maintenance technicians or other service personnel. The class focuses on methods for alignment of cardan coupled machines: - Different machine configurations for cardan drive. - Alignment of cardan coupled machines. - Practice mounting and using of Easy-Laser® measurement systems on cardan coupled machines. - Practice combining different measuring programs for different applications. - Practice measuring, evaluation, adjusting/shimming. - Practice saving and documentation, transferring to PC. - Final exam.
