Machine trains

Means that more than two "machines" are connected in a row.

Cardan-shaft-coupled machines

Common in the pulp-and-paper and sawmill industry where motors drives rolls and moving coils through cardan coupled shafts.

Drivelines on ships is another example of application where cardan coupled shafts appears. The Cardan program in the Easy-Laser® systems shows how the machine should be shimmed and adjusted.
