When aligning with Easy-Laser® BTA you reduce the wear on sheaves,
belts, bearings and sealings and reduce vibrations.
This will give you less downtime, which of course means that you increase
the available machine time. Time that guarantees your income.
Increased efficiency also means large energy cost savings.
The basic principle
The basic principle is simple: a laser transmitter mounted to the sheave
of the stationary machine(reference) projects a laser plane that is
parallel with the sheave. On the sheave of the movable machine targets
are placed, showing if the both sheaves are parallel and in line with each other.
Ascertain and correct the misalignment
When you use the D90 BTA you easily ascertain and correct
the misalignment by looking at the laser line projected onto the targets.
When you use the D160 BTA you get adjustment values on
the display, and you can also of course do the alignment live according to the
displayed values.
Possible for just one man to do the alignment
Both systems makes it possible for just one man to do the
alignment because the units are mounted with magnets to the sheaves, leaving
both hands free. The great advantage of the digital system is the possibility to
document your alignment, as has been standard for shaft alignment systems for
several years.
